Stop attacking Jewish people for Israel's crimes
I find it very sad that Jewish people are being targeted by Muslims and others because of the crimes of Israel. I find it sad that educated people can behave in this way and risk turning members of the general public against their cause. The main thrust against Israel is the injustice they visit upon the Palestinians through negative treatment based on racism by operating an apartheid regime.
This is nothing to do with being Muslim. This is about the illegal occupation of Palestinian lands and homes by Isreali settlers that have been empowered by Israle to do this. The other reason it isn't about being a Muslim is because most of the Muslim world in the area failed to adequately support Palestinians in the past. The people that are making it a Muslim issue now are extremists stirring up hatred to take advantage of the situation.
The whole situation is about Arabs and Jews - both of whom are defined as 'Semites' ... both of whom managed to live together peacefully in the past and still do outside of the influences of certain extremist political parties. If any political party on any side of this mess thinks its okay to completely wipe out the other race - the leaders of both sides are guilty of war crimes and should be tried as such.
If you attack a Jewish person because of what the state of Israel is doing to Palestinians...you are no better. You are a racist and 2 wrongs do not make a right.
Community leaders and politicians need to speak up and call for calm and a real, responsible, ceasfire rather than stand by and watch injustices take place on other British Citizens as a result of the actions of Israel. Anyone that goads or directly incites violence against any section of British society should be arrested for a hate crime...this includes members of foreign and our national media.
No one, which ever religion, that incites aggression upon people - particularly in a multicultural society such as the UK, is helping the situation...all you're doing is dividing our communities at a time when we need to be more united and working towards a lasting peace for Palestinians.
If you encounter anyone speaking in favour of what Israel is doing to Palestinians, report them for a hate crime, don't take matters into your own hands and don't carry out any injustices against Jewish people that have nothing to do with Israel's conduct.
